    Welcome Aboard!

The majority of the data I currently have from my recovery files are now online. I will continue to update the site as I gather more information.

If you are a former crew-member, family or friend of a former crew-member and have information you would like to share / add to the site please contact me using the Contact Us link at the top right of the page and I’ll get back to you as soon as possible. Please note that this is my hobby and I currently work a full time job that keeps me on the road often, so please be patient as my reply can take some time.

    Items I’m looking for:

Pictures (Ship and Crew) Will need copyright info (who/when/where) if possible. Need that to post images.

    Crew Info

    Copy of Muster Rolls

    Copy of Deck Logs

and anything else related to the Saugatuck.

While my primary interest is from commissioning until the end of World War II I will enter information after that period as well.

    Thanks for visiting.

We are about 80% complete with our site restore.  This time around we are trying out a few new methods of content display and will continue to tweak the design as time progresses.

At this point in time the crew section needs to be created and the data input and the guest log setup.  Once those sections are completed we’ll go back into research and data gathering mode to further develop the site.

Enjoy your Saturday and welcome aboard!

Welcome Aboard the U.S.S. Saugatuck AO 75, a Suamico; T. T2-SE-A1 Tanker!  After 9 months of being offline I’m beginning the redevelopment of the site which originally went live in 1999.  During the past 17 years the website has seen many changes and upgrades, however in May 2015 the site experienced a catastrophic event which led to a prolonged delay in refitting the site.

Thank you for visiting and please continue to check back for site updates.
